Tour Details

On foot from Piazza Tasso the main square of the town, crossing the ancient streets protected by high tufa walls such as Via Santa Maria della Pietà, you’ll admire the three ancient palaces, a tufa arch and a Corinthian column.
Afterwards, with your trekking and environmental guide, enjoy the visit of Villa Fiorentino where you’ll discover the lemons and oranges groove and its wonderful atmosphere. The guide will explain the technique of grafting lemon branches to orange trees, thereby boosting overall citrus fruits production.
The walking tour will continue to Via del Mare where you’ll reach a famous cheese factory and you will taste a different type of typical cheese such as: Mozzarella, Caciottina, Ricotta, local pickles accompanied with wine.
After your tasting the walking tour carry on towards the streets of the Sorrento’s historic centre, Via San Nicola, Via dell’Accademia, Via Santa Maria delle Grazie, Sant’Antonino Square and Via Sant’Antonino the heart of the historical centre, you’ll pass throught Piazza Tasso until to reach Via Correale. Here you’ll have the stop at the “Agruminato” that is the name of citrus garden, welcoming Lemonade or Limoncello liquor will be served refreshing you after your walk.
