If you want to taste , smell and feel centuries of culture and tradition , you cannot miss this unique opportunity in the heart of the Sorrento Peninsula. Between the green of nature and the scent of lemon groves, you’ll discover the Shiazzano Farm in Massa Lubrense along with its old tradition of food, drinks and culture.
-First stop is the lemon grove , where all participants will taste homemade Limoncello and orange marmalades on bread , fresh lemonade and limoncello with an illustration of an antique recipe. You will taste extra virgin olive oil : plain, lemon, orange, basil, oregano, rosemary and chilli on homemade bread.
-Second stop is “ Il Turziello Farm” which owns D.O.P. brand . The farm strict organic line, stars from feeding animals, cheese making and finishing with home grown vegetables. Benedetto will introduce you to his farm and give you a taste of cheese, in particular Provolone del Monaco D.O.P., he will prepare the typical caciottine, ricotta and mozzarella, adding fresh tomato salad accompanied with chilled wine.
-Last stop is “pizza making” in historical centre of Schiazzano. Lucio and his son will explain how Neapolitan pizza is made, using a long traditional family recipe. It is time to start working! With the typical Tarantella music the background you will follow indications on how to toss pizza in the air and have loads of fun . You will then make your own pizza margherita. Two minutes in wood oven and your pizza will be ready!
